Terms

These terms apply when you book a course with Rack and Return. Please read them with our Refunds and cancellations, Complaints, Reasonable adjustments and Privacy policies, and the instalment rules in Refunds and cancellations if you pay in parts.

Who we are

Rack and Return (Proyectos Tigre y Panda SL, NIF B66953126), Calle Bailén 23, P SA Pta 2, 08010 Barcelona. Email: info@rackandreturn.com. We are a WSET Approved Programme Provider. We are an independent school and not part of WSET. WSET awards the qualification. We teach the course.

Booking and payment

  • Your booking is confirmed when we receive your payment, or your first payment if you pay in instalments. We then email you a confirmation.
  • Prices include IVA. The price you see when you book is the price you pay.
  • You pay by card on our site, through our bank’s secure payment system.
  • A course runs only when enough students have booked: at least 8 for Level 1 and at least 6 for Levels 2 and 3. If it does not, we follow the Refunds and cancellations policy.
  • If one person books for a group, that person pays. Each student then fills in their own details through an email link.

Who can take a course

You must be at least 18 years old. Our WSET courses involve tasting alcoholic drinks. Please tell us if you need any adjustments (see Reasonable adjustments).

Registering with WSET

We register you with WSET when we request your exam. You must give your correct legal name and the other details we ask for, and agree that we share them with WSET (see Privacy). If you give them late or wrongly, we may not be able to register you in time.

Course materials and copyright

  • Materials are for your own study. Do not copy, share or sell them.
  • WSET materials belong to WSET. Our own materials belong to us.
  • Recordings of classes are shared privately with enrolled students. Do not share them or post them online. We remove them after the assessment window.
  • Language of materials: the WSET Online Classroom is in English only. Printed materials are available in Spanish for Levels 2 and 3. eBooks are in English only. The course page says which applies to your course.
  • Do not film or record classes without the teacher’s permission.

In class

If you miss a session, you can catch up on another date for €50 per missed session.

Please arrive on time and treat the teacher and other students with respect. We may ask you to leave if you seriously disturb the class or are not fit to take part safely. In that case we do not refund the part of the course you miss, unless the law says otherwise.

Exams

  • The exam fee is included in the price. The exam date and type are on the course page.
  • WSET’s exam rules apply: bring photo ID (passport, DNI or NIE), and leave notes, phones and other devices outside the exam room.
  • A resit fee applies only if you do not pass or you cancel the exam (see Refunds and cancellations).
  • We cannot promise that you will pass.

Teachers, venues and dates

Every WSET course is taught by an educator registered with WSET at a venue registered with WSET. We may change the teacher or the venue to another registered one. We will tell you. If the change does not suit you, you can ask for a free move or a full refund. If we have to change the date, the Refunds and cancellations policy applies.

Online courses

The course page says whether the course is live or recorded, how long you have access, and what support you get. Access lasts 12 months from your first login. Your access is personal.

Private and company courses

These follow a written quote. Where the quote is silent, these terms apply.

Our responsibility

We teach with care. We are responsible for the quality of our teaching and the services we provide, as the law requires. We are not responsible for exam results, which WSET marks, or for events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Law and disputes

Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts that the law gives you, normally those where you live. For companies, the courts of Barcelona have jurisdiction. If the English, Spanish and Catalan versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.

Changes

Changes to these terms apply to new bookings.
